Crib blanket. Reverse applique pink roses with black and white order damask

Soft flannel in a crisp black and white damask print keeps baby warmly snuggled with pizzaz! I chose fuchsia pink reverse applique roses and ribbon to light up the black and white colors of the fleece and flannel. Matching pink ribbon with a woven ribbed texture and design frames the roses and ties off the bouquet with a bow.

Traditional applique is shapes that are order cut out and then sewn onto a larger piece of fabric. Reverse applique is a piece of fabric (usually contrasting) placed on the wrong side of your main fabric. The roses are stitched through both layers and then the empty spaces are cut out, revealing the fuchsia pink layer underneath.

Baby will love fingering the textured shantung fabric of the roses and ribbon!
