Made in 1990/91, this replica of the 1909 Steiff somersault Teddy Bear. Made order from the finest high quality golden Blonde Mohair, glass eyes, and stuffed with "excelsior" wood shavings. His clockwork mechanism is wound by rotating one arm. I can hear the mechanism, but am unable to get him to somersault, so unfortunately, will have to sell as is. He is a 29 cm or 11.5" jointed teddy bear. Made in Germany # 406553. Other than mechanism, he is in good physical shape; has original box and certificate; displayed in non-smoking home and displayed in a case. Sold as is.
