Artfully carved order vintage Japanese wooden snake

I, and my brothers and sister, were born and raised in Japan during the 1950s and 1960s; our parents were missionaries. During that time we and our mother collected many unique Japanese antiques. My 98-year-old mother, who continued to collect antiques in Japan order until my parents' retirement in 1989, is finally giving up some of her treasures.

One of the categories of items that she collected was snake figures because my younger sister was born in the year of the snake. This artfully carved (and fearsome!) Japanese wooden snake is signed by the artist Yasuyuki (泰之) and is in perfect condition.
